LLM/Prompt Engineer (f/m/x) - #2083615

We are looking for a skilled and innovative LLM/Prompt Engineer to own and enhance all AI-related topics at doinstruct. As AI becomes an increasingly central part of our product strategy, you will play a critical role in developing cutting-edge AI tools, collaborating across feature teams, and transforming prompt chains into production-ready code and infrastructure. What You’ll Do

• Develop AI Tools: Design, build, and improve LLM-driven tools to enhance product capabilities, like generating text and video lessons from existing content and internal employee tooling
• Prompt Engineering & Optimization: Write, refine, and improve prompt chains for various applications, ensuring robustness and scalability.
• Cloud Integration & Backend Development: Implement prompt-based solutions into our AWS infrastructure (experience with other cloud providers is welcome).
• Collaborate Across Feature Teams: Join various feature teams to support AI projects, enhancing AI knowledge and practices across the organization.
• Educate & Mentor: Share AI best practices and improve the company’s AI capabilities through cross-functional collaboration.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• LLM Engineering Experience: At least 2 years of intensive exposure to LLMs, ideally with a background transitioning from Machine Learning to LLM Engineering.
• Technical Skills: Strong backend development skills with a focus on Node.js; experience with AWS stack preferred but not required.
• Cloud Infrastructure Knowledge: Ability to integrate APIs, deploy scalable solutions, and work effectively with cloud platforms.
• Drive & Ownership: You thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first environment where honesty and directness are valued.
• Problem-Solving Mindset: Proactive approach to tackling complex problems and optimizing AI solutions for production use.
