What You Can Expect

Our unit Business Reporting II is responsible for the development of reports using BI-tools as well as for the development of back end structures for BI-data consumption.

• You are working on data provisioning topics with the support from senior team members.
• Within this framework, you develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analyses and other strategies.
• You modify databases according to requests and perform tests as well as design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts.
• While optemizing DB-performance by conducting tests, you do troubleshootings and integrate new elements.
• Furthermore, you liaise with IT colleagues to improve applications and establish best practices.
• You locate and define new process improvement opportunities, suggesting new database products and services.
  
  
  

What You Offer

• university degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
• ideally professional experience as a data engineer, database or app developer and keen interest in innovations
• expertise in Database Design, Data Collection, Data Warehousing and Data Transformation
• good understanding of ETL (Alteryx, Spark, Databricks, Azure Data Factory) and expertise in database Design (SQL and no SQL) as well as app design (Streamlit etc.)
• knowledge of Microsoft Azure is advantageous
• creative and motivated team player with very good English skills to communicate with external as well as internal international partners
• comfortable working in multinational interdisciplinary teams and preferably already gained international experience
  
  
  

What We Offer

• 30 days of paid vacation, special leave and sabbatical options
• Work mobile from other EU countries for up to six weeks
• Location-independent work models with defined days of presence in Berlin and place of residence in Germany
• Gross annual salary (full-time): 40.000 - 46.000 €, depending on qualifications and work experience, 48.000 - 52.000 € possible with correspondingly higher qualifications
• In addition, you can expect a bonus dependent on the company's success as well as individual performance
