What You’ll Do & Who You Are

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our Dealer Performance Management and Pricing Team to join us in our Berlin office reporting directly to the Engineering Manager. We work hybrid with a few days in the office and some days remote.

About The Team

Our team at mobile.de develops tools and features to provide our dealers with clear, relevant data, helping them optimize pricing and performance according to their needs. We are a diverse and passionate team of backend engineers, data engineers, data scientists, and a UX designer, collaboratively building both frontend and backend solutions.

What You'll Do

• Ensure code quality through code reviews and pair programming, promoting our team review culture.
• Take ownership of testing (both manual and automated)
• Design and improve backend architecture, with a focus on microservices and distributed systems.
• Maintain a high-level understanding of the team’s software architecture and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Contribute to product development by sharing ideas, recommending solutions, and collaborating with other stakeholders.
• Use both backend and frontend expertise to build scalable, maintainable end-to-end solutions.
  
  

Who You Are

• Frontend Skills (Primary Focus)
• You are proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript, with 5+ years of experience in modern frontend development.
• You have experience with React.js, Next.js, and other modern frontend architectures.
• You have hands-on experience with CSS-in-JS frameworks and Figma
  
  

• Backend Knowledge
• You have familiarity with containerization (Kubernetes) and cloud services ( Kafka) for scalable deployments.
• You have hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Git Actions) and frontend testing frameworks
• You are comfortable working with Java 21 for backend development - SpringBoot, Maven
• You have experience with databases, MongoDB and Elastic Search.
• You have over 5+ years hands-on experience with REST APIs
