What You Can Expect

We are driving forward the digitalization of agriculture! The Global Data Steward is responsible for ensuring the quality, consistency and integrity of the data across the AP organization. The primary focus will be on implementing and enforcing data governance policies, maintaining data standards, and fostering collaboration between various business units and regions.

• You promote data ownership within the Marketing and Sales domains by implementing governance processes and ensuring compliance, which includes cataloging, classification, and metadata management.
• Furthermore, you align with Global Domain owners to address data demand requests, set priorities, and resolve complex data issues.
• You work together with product owners, data owners, data offices, and the central data team to synchronize governance processes, ensuring that data demands are clearly defined, understood, and consistently implemented across all domains.
• You act as a communication hub by translating complex governance concepts into actionable insights, fostering understanding among stakeholders, and promoting adherence to governance practices.
• In addition, you drive ongoing improvement in data practices by collecting feedback, performing gap analyses, and suggesting enhancements that align with industry standards, regulatory changes, and organizational priorities.
  
  
  

What You Offer

• degree in Data Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
• experience in data governance, data management, or a related role within Marketing and Sales domains
• solid knowledge of data governance principles, encompassing data cataloging, classification, metadata management, and data lineage
• knowledge in working with cross-functional teams across business and IT
• proficiency in conducting gap analyses and a strong understanding of data compliance frameworks
• strong communication skills in English, German is a plus
