Your mission

GotPhoto is looking for an enthusiastic Sr. Product Designer.

As a Senior Product Designer on our Shop team, you’ll shape intuitive, elegant, and visually delightful experiences that make discovering and purchasing photos effortless. Your work will directly impact families by capturing special moments, while also supporting photographers in showcasing and selling their work effectively.

You’ll report directly to Nils, our Product Design Lead, and join a growing, impact-driven design team dedicated to simplicity, clarity, and customer delight.

Contract type: Limited to one year

Work location: We follow a hybrid work model with our office in Berlin. In case you do not live close to Berlin, this role can also be done remotely in Germany.



Responsibilities

• Design with purpose – Uncover user needs, analyze insights, and shape seamless, thoughtful user journeys.
• Craft compelling experiences – Bring ideas to life through wireframes, interactive prototypes, and polished UI designs in Figma.
• Collaborate deeply – Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to create consistent, scalable solutions.
• Elevate our team – Engage in design critiques, mentor peers, share insights, and refine how we work as a team.
  
  

We are looking for

• Proven experience – 5+ years in product or UX design, with a strong portfolio of responsive mobile and web work (eCommerce a plus).
• User-first mindset – You design for real people and advocate for intuitive, accessible, and delightful experiences.
• Strong craft – Proficiency in Figma and interaction design, with attention to detail across prototyping, layout, and systems thinking.
• Research & validation – Skilled in usability testing and rapid iteration based on feedback and data.
• Leadership qualities – You take ownership, guide others when needed, and drive high-quality outcomes.
• Self-driven – Reliable, organized, and comfortable navigating ambiguity with focus and autonomy.
