The role:
Customer Support Associates play an irreplaceable and unrivalled role in shaping Strength Shop’s success. Our Customer Support Team has more daily interactions with our passionate customer base than all other channels.You’ll be the front line of our community - solving customer problems, spotting patterns, and feeding back insights to help shape the company. You won’t just answer emails - you’ll guide lifters to the right gear, handle tricky returns, and help build the smoothest possible customer experience. You’re curious, strong in your communication, and deeply embedded in the strength sports world.
- First point of contact for all customer needs via chat and email - from purchasing to returns and beyond.
- Own your tools: confidently navigate systems like Gorgias, Brightpearl, Shopify, and our warehouse management system.
- Learn our product catalogue inside and out to give knowledgeable, sport-specific advice.
- Proactively flag common issues and feedback to improve products, user experience, and communication across departments.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with our logistics, marketing, and tech teams to elevate the full customer journey.
- Step into the challenges of a fast-growing company with initiative, flexibility, and a mindset for growth.
Your profile:
- 2+ years of experience in a customer/client support role, ideally in ecommerce
- You live and breathe strength training - powerlifting, strongman, weightlifting or bodybuilding. You speak our customers’ language.
- Excellent written & spoken English (and ideally German)
- Natural problem solver - you enjoy turning friction into improvement
- Strong digital skills with a readiness to master internal tools and product knowledge
- Known for being: collaborative, growth-minded, reliable under pressure, and detail-oriented
- Confident working independently, but thrives in team dynamics
- Strong communicator with emotional intelligence; handles tough situations with professionalism
- Proactive and solution-focused - you take ownership when something needs fixing, no matter how small
- You live in or around Berlin and are available in-office 4 days/week (minimum for the first 3 months)
