Your Future Role
Ernst-Reuter-Platz 6, in the heart of Berlin, is home to Alstom's Central and Northen Europe regional headquarters. Up to 500 colleagues of more than 40 nationalities work here, focusing on project management, business development, and regional strategy, with a special emphasis on rail digitalization. Our corporate functions play a key role in supporting and continuously improving the performance of our sites. You’ll report to Robert Heuser and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.

In this role you will be responsible for introducing and managing new Power BI reports and optimizing / updating our existing ones, also SharePoint sites, and PowerApps applications utilized across the RSC teams. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, stakeholder engagement, and a data-driven mindset to enhance our operational efficiency and data visualization capabilities.

This role requires a blend of technical expertise, stakeholder engagement, and a data-driven mindset to enhance our operational efficiency and data visualization capabilities.
- Keep Reports Sharp and Insightful Maintain and enhance Power BI reports to ensure they stay accurate, relevant, and aligned with evolving business needs—your improvements will be driven by real user feedback.
- Make SharePoint Work Smarter Manage and continuously improve SharePoint sites so they’re easy to use, well-organized, and support smooth collaboration across teams.
- Build Smart Apps That Make a Difference Design and manage PowerApps solutions that simplify workflows, automate tasks, and boost productivity across the business.
- Spot Opportunities for Improvement Regularly review existing tools and solutions to identify what’s working—and what could work better—then apply best practices to make them even more effective.
- Work Closely with Stakeholders Collaborate with colleagues from different departments to understand their needs, gather requirements, and co-create solutions that solve real problems.
- Track What Matters Set up and monitor KPIs to measure the impact of your tools and reports, and use data to guide improvements.
- Champion Innovation Encourage a culture of continuous improvement by welcoming feedback and promoting new ideas that drive efficiency and innovation.
- Support and Empower Others Provide training and guidance to help team members get the most out of Power BI, SharePoint, and PowerApps.
- Turn Data into Action Analyze data to uncover trends and insights, then work with stakeholders to turn those insights into meaningful actions.
- Document and Share Knowledge Keep clear records of your work and share knowledge with the team to ensure continuity and support future development.

- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Data Analytics.
- Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with Power BI, SharePoint, and PowerApps.
- Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis capabilities and a data scientist mindset for interpreting complex datasets.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; intermediate German is a plus.
- Collaboration: Effective team player with the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
- Project & Stakeholder Management: Experience in project management and engaging stakeholders at all levels.
- Scheduling Tools: Proficiency in one scheduling tool (e.g. MS Project, Primavera) and familiarity with others.
- Data Visualization: Knowledge of best practices in data visualization and advanced Excel or similar tools.
- Industry Knowledge: Basic understanding of railway industry products and time-related contractual obligations.
- Proactive Attitude: Curious, eager to learn, and confident in challenging and guiding teams with solution-oriented thinking.
