About The Role

We are looking for a Finance Manager for Marioff’s German subsidiary, an experienced finance leader with an operational focus who would play an essential role in overseeing the financial activities of Marioff Germany.

Your Main Responsibilities Will Be

• Owning the monthly reporting processes including analysis of actual results and forecasting, annual planning
• Coordinating the monthly closing process in co-operation with a service centre
• Preparation of statutory accounts and applicable tax matters, ensuring compliance with corporate accounting controls requirements
• Providing financial guidance on all relevant commercial and operational matters to the management team to support decision making
• Business partnering with the Managing Director of the entity
  
  

To Be Successful In This Role You Will Need

• University Master’s degree in Finance / Accounting or other related field
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive finance experience preferably in an international company environment
• Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
• Strong knowledge of German financial legislations and local accounting standards, tax system
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, utilizing ERP systems
• Solid communication, leadership and interpersonal skills and ability to influence colleagues across the organization, a highly ethical personality
• Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills, able to manage priorities and workflow, ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure

• Knowledge/working experience with US GAAP standards
