We are looking for an Internal Audit Senior Advisor (IT + Data Analyst) (m/f/d) to support our team in Kassel or Berlin.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to support risk assessment, control evaluation, and audit decisions.
• complete coverage of the entire group, thus avoiding the disadvantages of sample testing;
• initiate continuous testing and monitoring and collect real-time data to identify problems and mitigate risks
• Completion of the working documents for the examination
• Produce clear and concise audit reports that provide actionable insights to facilitate decision-making and improve governance.
• Agreement on audit recommendations with those involved
• Technical guidance to the audit team in the use of data analyses

YOUR PROFILE

• Professional Excel skills, basic knowledge of SQL, any scripting languages
• Expert in business processes, process improvement and business change
• Experience in auditing technology controls (ITGC, applications, infrastructure) and an understanding of new technologies (e.g., data analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning)
• good communication skills in German and English
• Ability to build relationships and engage with stakeholders
• Experience in internal or external auditing or a closely related area such as risk management, finance or compliance
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent financial experience) in engineering, mathematics, finance, or a related discipline
