Join our dynamic Europe Region Marketing, Communications & Business Development (MCBD) team, playing a pivotal role in advancing Arup's commitment to sustainable development. You'll spearhead marketing initiatives for our Energy portfolio in Europe Region, with a particular focus on the key growth market of Germany, helping to position Arup as a leader in the transition to a net-zero future. The Opportunity


This isn't just another marketing role. You'll be at the forefront of Arup's energy ambitions in Europe, shaping how we communicate our expertise in critical areas like renewable energy (including offshore wind and hydrogen), high-voltage electrical engineering, electricity interconnectors, and urban energy solutions. You'll have the autonomy to co-design and execute impactful marketing campaigns, directly contributing to our brand recognition and helping to win landmark projects that accelerate the green transition. This is an opportunity to build your profile as an energy marketing expert within a globally renowned firm


As a Marketing Manager - Energy at Arup, you will:


  • Develop and execute

    integrated marketing campaigns to build Arup’s brand recognition as a leading energy consultant across the region, with a particular focus on Germany

  • Craft compelling content

    and manage diverse communication channels (digital, social media, web, case studies, thought leadership) to engage key audiences, raise the profile of our subject matter experts, and showcase our energy expertise

  • Plan and deliver

    impactful

    Arup-owned events (online and in-person) and strategically leverage industry gatherings to connect with clients and partners

  • Collaborate closely

    with technical experts, business leaders, and regional/global/local marketing counterparts to ensure strategic alignment and amplify our impact on significant energy projects

  • Champion brand coherence

    across all activities and support the development of strong client relationships through targeted marketing initiatives


Does this role inspire you?


We're looking for someone passionate about driving the energy transition and communicating innovative solutions that shape a more sustainable future. We also value:

  • Demonstrable skills and experience in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns in a professional services environment

  • Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills in both English and German (working knowledge of Spanish is desirable), with an ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels

  • Proven experience using digital communication tools and platforms for B2B marketing

  • A strong team player ethic, with collaborative skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed organisation

  • Previous marketing experience in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction), energy, utilities, or professional services sector is essential
