Your tasks

Tasks

As a Finance Manager / Accountant (all gernders) you will be responsible together with VP Finance and the team for all finance issues, including accounting, taxes, controlling and reporting.

In Particular

• Bookkeeping, reconciling bank accounts and credit card statements;
• Bookkeeping and reconciliation of general ledger accounts and accruals;
• Preparation and coordination of the monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB and US-GAAP;
• Participating in audits;
• Support for special projects and other ad hoc tasks as assigned;
• Participating in the design and continuous optimization of IT-Processes.
  
  

Requirements

That said, to get off to a good start in your new role, the following skills are required:

• Degree in business administration, finance and accounting;
• At least 3 years of relevant professional accounting experience;
• Hands-on experience in working with accounting software, preferably DATEV and business management software (e.g. Netsuite or Salesforce);
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel;
• Fluent in English and German;
• High level of attention to detail;
• Reliability and accountability, in day-to-day work and in handling confidential information;
• Able to work independently and are disciplined in your approach to daily activity planning and goal setting;
