Autonomy coupled with inspirational leadership: When we say empowered teams and roles we mean it. In this role you will fully own the outcome - with your manager and senior leadership ready to support you at all times
The importance of documentation: At Upvest we highly value the importance of our public documentation and the work done by Technical Writers. That is why we went public with our documentation portal when the product was still in its infancy. No struggle for access or resources that technical writers may encounter elsewhere
Product Engineering culture = No silos: Teams are working together guided by joint OKRs and a clear roadmap. This unified culture & way of working means fewer silos exist which a technical writer would need to break through, enabling easier collaboration to deliver client value in a decoupled and dynamic manner
An exceptional team: Upvest’s Product team is one of a kind when it comes to combining impactful work with a relaxed and fun atmosphere. We have established strong practices around feedback, team health and social events

What you bring
You have
5-8
years experience working
in a technical writing role setup
, similar to Upvest, or differing experiences which equate to the same skill set. Ideally for investment or financial products, in a company serving B2B Clients.
You are technical and can both manage your own code repositories and get hands on with the Upvest API. You are the earliest adopter of any new feature, mixing product experience, killer QA instincts and empathy towards the user, client & developer.
You’re a master of penmanship and have the ability to communicate in a consistent ‘tone of voice’ towards our Clients, translating domain expertise into materials which streamline the end-to-end integration experience.
You speak with clients and are comfortable jumping into an ongoing launch to explore how our docs are used. But equally building deep relations with Upvest’s product managers, embedding to co-develop the latest feature documentation.
You’re committed to developing your knowledge, be it about the industry or our product. Your aspiration is being able to work in a self-standing role, ‘floating’ across the different teams, for whom documentation is to be produced.
You have an understanding of modern product management principles, respective methodologies and best practices.
You are innovative, eager to explore ways in which AI and LLMs can support the technical writing discipline.
You represent the consumer of our docs towards Product, and actively experiment with ways to make Clients aware of produced content.
