Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for procurement? At KWS Berlin GmbH, we are looking for an Associate Procurement (m/f/d) for our operations in Turkey and support on East Europe, BeNeLux and Scandinavia. You will work witha great team to ensure effective and highly efficient processes while providing efficient and state-of-the-art transactional services to internal and external clients on a daily basis. The Procurement Associate will guide and support business users in all relevant aspects, also driving continuous process improvement and facilitating the standardization, digitalization, and automation of the end-to-end source-to-pay process.

This position is with limited contract (2 years), full-time and located in Berlin.

Your Responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions, orders, and contracts for Goods & Services as per defined scope and in accordance with the defined service level agreement (SLA).
• Process requests from users via the internal ticketing system in accordance with the defined service level agreement (SLA).
• Conduct and analyze requests for quotations (RFQs) and execute tactical buying for Goods and Services for defined thresholds and spend categories.
• Monitor the spending patterns in the supported KWS legal entities and provide suggestions on potential catalog implementation for defined spend categories.
• Drive PO quota improvement initiatives in the supported legal entities.
• Provide end-user education and training in the procurement process and tools.
• Support end-to-end process application by collaborating closely with the other departments (e.g. Accounts Payable, Expert Hub Procurement, Master Data Management, General Ledger and Controlling, Global IT).
  
  

Your Profile

• Preferably an academic degree in Business Administration or related field;
• Sound knowledge of general procurement processes and primary professional experience in procurement, preferably in Shared Service Center environment;
• Experience in working in ERP systems (preferably SAP, S4HANA knowledge is a plus);
• Process-driven team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills, customer orientation and extraordinary service attitude;
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment;
• You have Turkish as native language, fluency in English and in an East-Europe language (Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Hungarian, Polish, Romanian, Serbian, Ukrainian). Any other language is a huge advantage.
