We’re looking for a senior front-end developer to join our Lightspeed Hospitality Team in EMEA. You will work on a variety of projects that will have a tremendous impact on the daily life of thousands of customers all over the world and help bring local communities to life.
As a Senior Frontend Developer, you’ll be working closely together with our Product Managers, Designers, other developers, and our support team in order to provide tailored and innovative solutions for the market. You will join a healthy and collaborative team, continuously improving our engineering practices, and delivering state-of-the-art technology, all while keeping it fun. Above all, your work will change the way the world experiences hospitality.

What You'll Be Responsible For
- Working alongside some of the most brilliant minds in the industry, you will contribute to the omnichannel product by building new features and creative workflows.
- Design and create beautiful, elegant, and functional web applications.
- Your daily tasks will be split between development of new features and supporting existing integrations with our partners, while new features will dominate as we constantly open new markets.
- Report to the Team Lead of Development and have frequent interactions with Product Managers, Product Designers, and Platform Teams.
- Take part in daily agile ceremonies, brainstorm on innovative ideas that challenge the status quo, and implement solutions.
- Act as an advocate for the highest code quality and ownership while contributing to the health of the infrastructure.
- Raise the bar and elevate your team by sharing knowledge and best practices while always seeking improvement and progress.
- Strong knowledge of modern HTML and JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, CSS(-in-JS)
- Knowledge of React.js, Next.js, or similar technologies
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills in the context of Web applications
- Solid understanding of Web application concerns
- Authentication, OAuth2, JWT
- API design, REST, GraphQL
- Performance optimizations
- Security best practices, OWASP
- Experience developing in a back-end for frontend layer
- Familiarity with writing tests (e2e using Cypress) and ensuring the highest coding standards
- Communication skills in English
- Experience in the development of mobile-first applications
- Familiarity with modern cloud infrastructures
- A keen eye for UI/UX design
