Richardson RFPD, an Arrow company, is a specialized electronic component distributor providing design engineers with deep technical expertise and localized global design support for the latest new products from the world's leading suppliers of RF, Wireless, IoT and Power Technologies.

Whether it's designing in components or engineering complete solutions, our technical sales team provides comprehensive support for customers' go-to-market strategy, from prototype to production.

TECHNICAL SALES ENGINEER (m/w/d)

We are looking to recruit a Technical Sales Engineer (m/w/d) based in South Germany to join our Sales team. Your principal responsibility in this role would be build and maintain influential relationships with customers, suppliers and Richardson RFPD partners creating demand for Richardson RFPD products.

Responsible for a Sales territory: South of Germany and Austria.

What will you be doing?

  • Initiate and schedule regular customer visits with a focus on providing technical solutions to customer designs from the Richardson RFPD supplier Linecard.
  • Will create and drive opportunities and product selection within their accounts.
  • Utilize distribution/supplier knowledge to grow market share and sales. Build strong relationships with suppliers and their representatives.
  • Managing designs from conception to production, providing all sales support needed including customer visits, supplier visits and engineering services.
  • Maintain and grow customer database and defined vertical market and applications.
  • Provide reports and market knowledge of territory and growth plans.
  • Attending supplier training events to keep up to date on product technologies and road maps.

What are we looking for?

  • 3 years+ of related experience, ideally with a distribution background in the territory defined above.
  • Energy and Power background
  • Degree in electronics or related subject
  • Ability to negotiate and to build relationships at all levels of customers and suppliers.
  • German native and good business English
  • A knowledge of Salesforce would be an advantage.
  • Having an experience in electronic component distribution is a plus
