Executive Leadership and Business Strategy
- Be a critical part of the organization's real estate leadership team.
- Represent the sales department, its people, objectives and ultimate impact at the senior level.
- Help the Kleinanzeigen executive team set and execute on organizational strategy.
- Act as an ambassador for the culture, values and mission of the organization in all engagements within and outside of the business.
- Provide regular updates to the senior management team on progress, revenue achievement and market trends.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company goals, including market segmentation, prospecting, and sales process optimization.
- Set and achieve ambitious sales targets, revenue goals, and other KPIs.
- Forecast sales trends, analyze market dynamics, and identify new revenue opportunities.
- Oversee pricing strategies and ensure alignment with market conditions and revenue objectives.
- Implement a segmented, regionalised sales strategy that prioritises key growth opportunities to drive rapid customer adoption and revenue growth.
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and train a high-performing sales team.
- Develop, launch and embed a sales methodology based on ROI and business partnering.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance within the sales organization.
- Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and development opportunities for sales team members.
- Conduct performance reviews, identify skill gaps, and implement training programs to enhance team capabilities.
- Manage 3rd party sales channel partners to augment and scale sales efforts and achieve sales objectives.
- Oversee the customer experience team, ensuring exceptional service and support for our clients.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.
- Monitor KPIs related to customer experience and identify areas for improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including large real estate partners and brokerages.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences to network and generate future business.
- Identify and negotiate medium to large revenue partnership opportunities.
- Work closely with the product team to identify the current value offered to customers and consult to the development of new products and features that meet customer needs and drive revenue growth.
- Provide market insights and customer feedback to inform product development decisions.
- Participate in product roadmap planning and prioritization.
- Implement and manage effective sales operations, including CRM systems, sales tools, and reporting processes.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, track performance, and make data-driven decisions.
- Develop and manage sales budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Collaborate effectively with other departments, including marketing, product, and development, to ensure alignment and achieve company objectives.
- Develop a healthy culture of cross-functional collaboration in the customer-facing teams to ensure multi-stakeholder projects result in success.
- Ability to get buy-in across a matrix organisation and influence people without a direct reporting relationship.
- Be able to continuously align and strive for win-win outcomes.
- 7+ years of experience leading and scaling high-performing sales teams, preferably in the real estate, technology or media industry.
- Ownership, active participation and solution-oriented mindset that causes the team to achieve great results.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and with a bias for action, not waiting until you get a directive but seeking the right solution.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies that drive revenue growth.
- Passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and building strong client relationships.
- Strong analytical skills and experience using data to inform sales decisions and track performance.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Nice to have: Deep understanding of the real estate industry and current market trends.
- Ability to translate market needs into product development opportunities.
- Proven ability to build and manage relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
- Understanding of financial statements and budgeting processes.
- A vibrant and growing customer-facing team, doing great work and contributing to the goals and objectives of the organization.
- Growing revenue lines in each of our core products and services.
- Building resilient and profitable relationships between the organization and our customers.
