About The Role

As a Working Student in Accounting, you will play a hands-on role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations that keep our fast-paced environment running smoothly. Your work will focus on assisting the Finance team with key accounting tasks—including preparing payment runs, managing employee expense reimbursements, and executing pre-accounting activities that feed into our monthly close.

You will be an integral part of our team, reporting directly to the Senior Accounting Manager. Your practical, hands-on approach will help shape the operational framework that drives our organization towards becoming a robust and efficient engine for innovative decision-making. This position demands a proactive approach and an entrepreneurial mindset to turn concepts into concrete realities.

Taktile is a hybrid company, however we want to optimize the learning experience for junior candidates with as much in-person interaction as we can, so we prefer candidates who can join us at our HQ office in Berlin. Please consider that we do not offer relocation support nor visa sponsorship for any intern positions.

What You Will Do

• Assist the Finance and Ops Team with cross-functional tasks spanning financial reporting, internal controls, and day-to-day administrative operations.
• Support the preparation and execution of payment runs and employee expense reimbursements, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal policies.
• Work closely with the Senior Accounting Manager to accelerate the month-end closing process by preparing documentation, reconciling accounts, and identifying improvements in efficiency.
• Help with coding, categorizing, and organizing financial data to streamline bookkeeping and prepare for accurate month-end reporting.
• Take part in building and refining scalable accounting processes that support a fast-growing organization, contributing to a high-performing finance function.
  
  

Ideal, But Not Required

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Berlin based. Office attendance is required.
• Fluent in English, German proficiency is a plus.
• Familiarity with finance processes.
