As an intern/working student, you will contribute to projects focused on power system economics, energy sysrtem modeling, and data analysis.
Your responsibilities
- Review methodologies from TSOs and institutions (e.g. ENTSO-E)
- Support meetings, technical reports, and presentations
- Build and analyze power system models (Plexos, PyPSA)
- Perform data/statistical analysis and time-series modeling (Python)
- Assist in developing and debugging in-house Python-based tools
- Enrolled Master's student in Industrial/Electrical Engineering, Energy Economics, or similar
- Solid understanding of the energy sector, policies, and market structures
- Knowledge of optimization methods (Unit Commitment, Economic Dispatch, OPF)
- Strong Python skills; experience with Git, data analysis, and visualization
- Independent, team-oriented, fluent in English
- EU-based and willing to relocate to Berlin (on-site only)
- Paid internship: 6 months minimum
- 37h/week (interns) or 20h/week (working students)

- Option to develop your Master's thesis
