Job Title: Key Account Manager – Neurology (Multiple Sclerosis) & Osteoporosis
Region: Hof, Regensburg, Nürnberg, Passau, Erding, Munich North
Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager to lead sales efforts in the field of Neurology (with a focus on Multiple Sclerosis) and Osteoporosis. This role involves managing key accounts across outpatient and hospital settings, driving the adoption of biosimilar antibodies, and executing strategic marketing and sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales and market penetration of existing and new biosimilar products in Neurology and Osteoporosis.
- Achieve sales targets, market share goals, and customer engagement metrics through regular performance monitoring and reporting.
- Conduct targeted visits to healthcare professionals in outpatient, ambulatory, and hospital settings, ensuring optimal frequency and impact.
- Utilize omnichannel strategies to maximize territory coverage and customer reach.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders and decision-makers.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Medical Liaison Managers, Healthcare Managers, and Hospital Sales.
- Perform in-depth territory, competitor, business, and customer analyses using tools such as segmentation, potential analysis, and targeting.
- Participate in ongoing training, workshops, and conferences to stay current with industry trends.
- Contribute to project work and support the planning and execution of regional events and national congresses.
- Maintain accurate customer data and ensure timely documentation and reporting.
- Achievement of defined quantitative and qualitative targets (sales, market share, budget adherence).
- Effective use of omnichannel tools to ensure frequency and coverage.
- Strong customer and event management.
- Productive collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- High levels of satisfaction among internal and external customers.
- Positive feedback from supervisors and colleagues.
- Education: Certified Pharmaceutical Representative or a degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, or Life Sciences (must meet AMG §75 requirements).
- Languages: Fluent in German (spoken and written); good command of English.
- Experience: Several years of successful pharmaceutical sales experience, ideally in MS and/or Osteoporosis.
- Existing relationships with key customers in the region are highly desirable.
- Solid knowledge of specialty pharmaceuticals and biologics.
- Experience in both outpatient and hospital environments is a plus.
