Key Responsibilities
- Testing & Measurement
- Perform EMC and high-frequency tests on devices in accordance with relevant standards and regulations, including
- Synthesizers and power meters up to 6 GHz
- Directional couplers up to 1 GHz
- Low-noise and HF amplifiers up to 400 MHz
- EM clamps, capacitive voltage probes, current injection probes, and associated jigs
- Ensure accurate execution of test procedures and detailed documentation of results.
- Analyze measurement data and prepare clear, meaningful test reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge Transfer
- Actively engage in structured knowledge transfer from experienced team members.
- Document acquired knowledge and apply it effectively in daily operations.
- Process Adherence & Improvement
- Follow established workflows and contribute to maintaining high testing standards.
- Support the implementation of process improvements and optimization initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the Team Lead and departments such as production and development.
- Provide feedback on testing issues to help improve product quality and processes.
Education & Expertise
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, High-Frequency Technology, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of EMC and RF measurement principles, equipment, and techniques.
- Experience in testing and analyzing electronic devices, ideally in an EMC or RF environment.
- Familiarity with EMC-related standards (e.g. IEC 61000-4-16, -4-19, CISPR 15) is a plus, but not required – we’ll support your learning curve.
- Proficiency in using Vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and other RF test equipment.
- Soldering skills are a strong plus
- Experience with ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics NAV) is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in handling technical data.
- Independent, structured, and quality-focused working style.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Eagerness to learn and grow, especially through knowledge transfer.
- Fluent German required; English skills are helpful but not essential for this role.
