What we are looking for

We’re looking for a technically sharp junior generalist to join our Platform team in Berlin.

This is a builder role. You’ll design and maintain the internal systems, automations, and data workflows that keep the fund running and the investment team well-informed. A big part of that is knowing when to reach for an LLM and when not to – building AI-assisted workflows that are genuinely reliable, not just impressive in a demo.

As you grow into the role, you’ll become our resident AI expert: advising the investment team on how frontier models apply to deal evaluation and market research as well as supporting portfolio companies navigating their own AI adoption.

What you will work on

• Build and maintain internal tools and automations using Node.js / TypeScript
• Own and improve workflows inside our CRM (Attio): data quality, pipeline visibility, reporting
• Design dashboards and reporting across dealflow, portfolio, and fund metrics using SQL and Excel
• Structure and integrate data from CRMs, APIs, and external datasets
• Design and ship AI-assisted workflows using LLMs: processing decks, calls, documents, and unstructured research – with a clear eye on where deterministic logic is the better call
• Experiment with the latest models and APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, and beyond) and bring what’s actually useful back to the team
• Support the investment team with market research, benchmarking, and quantitative analysis
• Over time, advise founders in our portfolio on practical AI adoption in industrial contexts

Qualifications & Profile

• Solid TypeScript / Node.js skills: you’ve shipped something real, even if small
• Hands-on experience with AI APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, or similar) — you’ve built with them, not just read about them
• You follow the frontier: new models, new capabilities, new failure modes
• You understand where LLMs add value and where they introduce risk — and you build accordingly
• Comfortable with SQL and working with relational data
• Experience with APIs and lightweight data pipelines
• Analytical and structured – you turn ambiguous problems into working solutions
• Independent and ownership-driven; you don’t need heavy process to get things done
• Curious about startups, technology, and how industrial companies are built

Nice to have: experience with frontend development, RAG pipelines, or agentic workflows; CRM automation; BI tools; or exposure to manufacturing, logistics, or construction.
