Location: Berlin or Europe (remote) with bi-weekly travel to Berlin

Compensation: €65,000-€85,000 base salary + commission

The Opportunity

As Head of Sponsorship Sales, you will own sponsorship revenue across our flagship events, strategic partnerships, memberships, and bespoke commercial activations.

Reporting into senior commercial leadership, you will manage the full sales cycle-from prospecting and outreach through negotiation, closing, onboarding, renewal, and account growth.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, closing deals, and creating long-term value for partners. As the business evolves from an event-led model into a year-round platform and community, you will help develop recurring commercial relationships that extend beyond individual sponsorship campaigns.

Key Responsibilities



Revenue Generation & Business Development

  • Own and deliver against revenue targets as part of a high-performing commercial team.

  • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline with accurate forecasting and disciplined CRM management.

  • Lead the full sales cycle, including prospecting, outreach, qualification, proposal development, negotiation, and closing.

  • Develop relationships with senior decision-makers across corporates, startups, investors, and ecosystem organisations.

  • Identify new sponsorship, partnership, and membership opportunities.

Partnership & Account Management

  • Own strategic partner relationships from onboarding through renewal.

  • Ensure partners achieve measurable value and strong return on investment.

  • Identify opportunities for account growth, upselling, and long-term engagement.

  • Act as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for key accounts.

  • Build a portfolio of partners that renew and expand year after year.

Commercial Strategy

  • Collaborate with commercial leadership to refine sponsorship packages, memberships, and bespoke partnership offerings.

  • Contribute market insights and customer feedback to improve pricing, positioning, and commercial effectiveness.

  • Help develop scalable commercial products that align with partner objectives and business growth goals.

  • Participate in commercial planning and go-to-market discussions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing, content, programming, operations, and leadership teams to ensure commercial commitments align with delivery.

  • Support the creation of sales materials, proposals, and partner communications.

  • Contribute to the ongoing development of sales processes, systems, and best practices.

  • Help strengthen collaboration across teams as the organisation grows.

About You

  • 3-7 years of experience in event sponsorship sales, partnerships, business development, or B2B sales.

  • Experience selling sponsorship packages for technology, SaaS, startup, venture capital, innovation, or Deep Tech events is required.

  • Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets.

  • Experience managing complex sales cycles and senior stakeholder relationships.

  • Strong account management skills, with a focus on renewals and account growth.

  • Ability to develop commercially compelling sponsorship and partnership solutions.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Experience using CRM and sales engagement tools.

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.

  • Interest in technology, innovation, startups, venture capital, or emerging industries.

  • Comfortable operating in entrepreneurial environments with high levels of ownership and autonomy.
