Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Berlin for a Software Quality Assurance Tester. You will design, execute, and document manual and automated test cases for high-performance imaging and print workflow software. Daily tasks include analyzing requirements, preparing test scenarios, identifying and reporting defects, and verifying fixes in close collaboration with developers and product owners. You will contribute to maintaining and improving software quality standards, participate in regression and performance testing, and support release readiness activities. The role also involves creating and updating test documentation, supporting continuous improvement of QA processes, and helping ensure stable, reliable software releases for commercial and industrial printing environments.

Your Tasks

• Performing print tests out of various applications
• Creation and processing of test plans according to software function specifications
• Statement of test results in the agile software development management tool “Jira” in English
• Setup and configuring of Windows- and Macintosh-Systems as test platforms
• Setup and configuration of virtual machines
• Setup and configuration of software simulators of digital print equipment
• Operating digital printers.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
• 1–3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or a similar role
• Good knowledge of PC and/or Macintosh hardware and software
• Firm with software applications (Microsoft365, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Knowledge of network components and network protocols, client-server-systems 
• Good command of the English language
• Preferably IT specialist/technician or equal work experiences in the field of quality assurance of software products.
