Founder's Associate - #2638301
UniWearables
Founder’s Associate (m/f/d) - MedTech Startup
(Berlin | Start: As soon as possible)
About Us
At UniWearables (www.uniwearables.com), we are building a highly innovative patient monitoring platform for continuous vital sign monitoring in clinical environments as well as in the dual-use area.
Our mission is to improve the quality and speed of clinical diagnostics through continuous, intelligent patient monitoring - helping healthcare professionals make better decisions, save lives, and improve clinical outcomes.
We are led by experienced entrepreneurs with a successful MedTech exit and backed by leading venture capital firms, high-profile private investors, and senior advisors. We collaborate closely with leading scientists and physicians, including partners at Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin and the Center for Space Medicine & Extreme Environments.
Following our recently closed seed financing round, we are entering a decisive phase: bringing our solution to market, scaling our commercial activities, and building additional business areas around our technology platform.
To support this next phase of growth, we are looking for a highly driven Founder's Associate to work directly with the founders and leadership team. You will take ownership of strategic, operational, and commercial initiatives across business development, partnerships, fundraising, and company building - with direct exposure to the key decisions that shape our company.
This is not a traditional entry-level role. It is a high-ownership position for someone who wants to learn fast, contribute meaningfully, and experience the realities of building and scaling a MedTech company from the inside.
Your Responsibilities
• Work directly with the founders on high-priority strategic, operational, and commercial projects
• Drive key initiatives across business development, operations, partnerships, and company building
• Support project management activities including planning, tracking progress, monitoring timelines, and ensuring smooth execution of key initiatives
• Represent UniWearables externally in selected customer meetings, partner discussions, conferences, and trade fairs
• Take ownership of ad hoc projects in a fast-moving startup environment where priorities evolve quickly
• Support business development activities by preparing customer and partner meetings, managing follow-ups on commercial opportunities, and contributing to pilots, partnership initiatives, and commercial roll-outs.
• Conduct market research and competitive benchmarking to support strategic decisions in patient monitoring, MedTech, and healthcare markets
• Prepare decision materials, presentations, and reports for founders, investors, advisors, partners, and internal stakeholders
Your Profile
• Bachelor's or Master's degree from a strong university in Business, Economics, Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Natural Sciences, or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in consulting, venture capital, startups, business development, investment banking, or a similarly demanding environment
• Healthcare, MedTech, or digital health experience is a strong plus
• Strong communication skills in German and English, both written and verbal
• Exceptional drive and learning ambition - you want to grow fast, take responsibility early, and are comfortable in a demanding startup environment
• High ownership and initiative - you move fast, think independently, and thrive in ambiguity
• Entrepreneurial mindset with curiosity for what it means to build and scale a company
• Independent, structured, and proactive working style with strong project management capabilities and attention to detail
• Based in Berlin and willing to work closely with the team on site as well as travel when needed
What We Offer
• Work on a mission-driven, high-impact product in medical technology with the potential to improve clinical outcomes at scale
• Close collaboration with the founders and leadership team with direct exposure to strategic decisions
• A steep learning curve: A front-row seat to company building - from go-to-market and partnerships to operations, fundraising, and strategic decision-making
• High degree of ownership and the opportunity to shape core company processes from an early stage
• A dynamic startup environment with exceptional talent, experienced advisors, and strong investor backing
• Competitive compensation and development opportunities as the company grows
• A big modern office in northern Charlottenburg with a collaborative, energetic team atmosphere and short communication paths.
