News Cafe Barista (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• You are responsible for the success of our News Café in Berlin with approx. 20 seats (plus an attractive outdoor dining area with an additional 10 seats in summer).
• In your varied role, you will independently plan, organize, and coordinate all operational processes.
• You will independently prepare 2 dishes on a daily basis, as well as a manageable breakfast/snack selection for our colleagues and external guests.
• Through targeted marketing measures, you will promote our News Café externally, with support from our agency.
• You will work closely with the reception team, particularly regarding guest reception, planned meetings/events, and room reservations/layout.

Your profile

• For this role, we are looking for an entrepreneurial-minded individual with experience as a cook/chef and proven competence in a similar function.
• You bring a strong “hands-on” mentality and pronounced service orientation.
• Knowledge in accounting and promotion, as well as MS Office skills, are required.
• A friendly and well-groomed appearance, along with fluent German and/or English skills, complete your profile.
