The Role
The Role
- Maintain and operate data center electrical and mechanical infrastructure (UPS, MV electrical systems, generators, cooling systems, etc.)
- Ensure high standards for safety and promote a world-class safety culture
- Drive continuous improvement through standardization and deliver against agreed metrics
- Enable 100% uptime on customer-supporting infrastructure
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for operational excellence
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance of critical facility infrastructure
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of key electrical competencies and theory
- Experience in data center engineering (preferred)
- Knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, controls) (preferred)
- Proficiency in German (B2 preferred)
- Ability to work on a 24x7 schedule and perform physical tasks
- Opportunity to work in a hands-on capacity on M&E infrastructure
- Participation in the delivery of build-out and retrofit of Data Center infrastructure
