We are looking for a Junior Procurement Specialist (d/f/m) with a focus on Indirect Procurement to join our mobile.de Procurement Team in Berlin on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their procurement career to gain hands-on experience in a digital business. You will support sourcing and supplier-management activities across categories such as Technology and SaaS, Marketing, Professional Services, and other business services.

Reporting to the Procurement Lead, and working closely with experienced procurement colleagues, you will learn how procurement projects are structured - from analysing requirements and preparing RFx documents to supporting supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract processes.

You will also work with stakeholders across Tech, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and other business teams and contribute to the ongoing transformation and digitalisation of Procurement at mobile.de.

Job requirements

What You Bring

• First practical experience or strong interest in indirect procurement, purchasing, supplier management, or a related field. Experience gained through internships, working-student roles, trainee programs, or initial professional experience is welcome.
• Experience in indirect categories such as Technology, SaaS, Marketing, Professional Services, HR services, or Facilities is particularly relevant.
• Basic understanding of sourcing, supplier management, contract processes, or purchasing activities.
• An analytical mindset and confidence working with data.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive and reliable approach - you follow through on your tasks and ask questions when something is unclear.
• Good communication skills and an interest in working with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Genuine interest in procurement transformation, digital tools, and AI.
• Business-fluent in English, written and spoken. German is a big plus.

Job responsibilities

What You Will Do:

• Support spend and supplier-data analysis.
• Help prepare RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
• Support supplier research, communication, and response tracking.
• Assist with supplier comparisons and commercial evaluations.
• Prepare information and materials for negotiations.
• Support contract-management and supplier-onboarding activities.
• Help maintain procurement documentation, templates, and trackers.
• Work with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements.
• Support category-strategy activities under the guidance of experienced team members.
• Use digital and AI-enabled tools to improve research, analysis, and everyday procurement tasks.
• Contribute to process improvements and the digitalisation of procurement workflows.
