Senior Business Development Manager - Insurance (m/f/d) - #2674712

We're looking for a Senior Business Development Manager – Insurance (m/f/d) to join our team in Frankfurt, Berlin or Munich, Germany in a hybrid working mode.

In this role, you will drive new logo acquisition and expand whitespace opportunities within the insurance sector. Acting as a market-facing industry seller, you will leverage your understanding of sector trends, challenges and buying behaviours to identify, engage and convert enterprise clients. You will position EPAM as a strategic partner for transformations in digital, customer experience, data and AI, focusing on net-new revenue generation and expanding underpenetrated accounts through consultative engagement.

Responsibilities

• Leverage an established network in Germany’s insurance sector to identify and develop new business opportunities
• Drive consultative sales of complex IT development and digital solutions to achieve revenue targets
• Engage with client leadership to understand priorities and co-create digital and commercial roadmaps
• Develop compelling value propositions, lead proposal preparation and manage all stages of the deal cycle
• Collaborate with consulting, engineering, delivery and partner teams to design integrated client solutions
• Foster co-selling opportunities with ecosystem partners to broaden market coverage
• Share market insights and best practices to support regional and global growth objectives
  
  

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in business development or sales of digital technology services, including custom IT development projects
• In-depth understanding of commercial or reinsurance including emerging technologies and business models
• Knowledge of technical platforms, business models, subject matter and trends – with a general industry focus on insurance (Group Life & Benefits)
• Proven network within Germany’s Insurance sector (commercial insurance & reinsurance)
• Demonstrated success in shaping and closing complex IT and digital transformation deals
• Ability to craft impactful value propositions and present effectively to senior leadership and C-level stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to assess GenAI-driven product opportunities
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills in both German and English
