Summary
As a member of our Product Marketing group, you’ll represent the customer throughout a product’s journey from concept through development and launch. You’ll develop and apply insights to help infuse innovative features into our product-development process. Together with our team, you’ll work to craft groundbreaking ideas into tangible products that excite the world.

Description
The Product Marketing Manager, Mac & iPad will own and drive the product centric marketing strategy for their respective product lines of business. A critical function of this role is to be the spokesperson for their products in market.

The Product Marketing Manager in Germany is part of a team of product experts who champion products within their respective markets and seek innovative ways to keep our products at the heart of the customer conversation.

You will play a critical role in driving Apple iPad and Mac adoption, go-to-market success, and alignment across functional partners. You will be responsible to deliver successful product launches, sustain momentum, effectively position our products and drive business growth.

As the Geo expert for Germany, you will leverage your product and market insights to capture local requirements and communicate them to Worldwide Product Marketing and other stakeholders to inform their decisions. To be successful, you should demonstrate a strong passion for Apple products, a proven experience in marketing innovative technologies, and the analytical skills to distill business and customer insights into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Articulate the product opportunity in market and provide product insight and leadership from introduction through end-of-life to both the Marketing and Sales organisations
• Execute product launches with excellence every time
• Contribute to the annual Marketing plan, outlining opportunity and actions that lead growth and category leadership
• Be the liaison between market and worldwide for all local business needs and feature requirements. Influence the product feature roadmap, making clear recommendations that improve customer experience
• Become a visible and vocal member of the Product Marketing team
• Be the guardian of product messaging & positioning across every customer touch point, advancing the cause of excellence
• Possess expert knowledge of competitive and 3rd party products and strategies. Make pricing and forecasting recommendations to management and cross-functional teams
• Build a sphere of influence across multiple internal functions / divisions
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience in product marketing, product management, or related roles in Germany
• Familiarity across Apple hardware, software, and services, ideally with an interest or experience in the PC industry or consumer electronics
• Technical fluency with the ability to translate complex technical features into clear, relevant consumer benefits
• Excellent presentation skills, written and spoken, in both English and German. Ability to craft compelling product stories
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data and market insights to guide actions and recommendations
• Flexibility to travel (up to 25% of the time)
