Junior Clinical Research Associate (Germany)

Role Summary

The role supports the organization and execution of clinical studies in Germany. It involves working with internal teams and external partners to ensure that studies run smoothly, in accordance with timelines, quality standards, and applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the coordination and day-to-day follow-up of clinical studies.
• Work closely with clinical sites and internal teams throughout the different stages of a study.
• Help prepare and activate study sites and support patient recruitment activities.
• Follow up on study progress, timelines, documentation, and overall site performance.
• Support the review of study data and documentation to ensure quality and completeness.
• Help identify and resolve issues that may arise during the study.
• Support compliance with study requirements, quality standards, and applicable regulations.
• Provide support and guidance to study sites when needed.
• Keep internal stakeholders informed about study and site progress.
• Contribute to study documentation, contracts, budgets, and other operational activities.
• Work collaboratively with different functions in an international and fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

• Relevant background in life sciences, healthcare, nursing, engineering, or a related field.
• A first relevant experience in clinical research (CTA, Study start-up, Study Coordinator, ...)
• Good knowledge of clinical trial processes and GCP principles.
• Fluency in German and English.
• Good organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and work independently while collaborating with a wider team.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and experience with relevant clinical systems.
• Willingness to travel within Germany and occasionally internationally.
• Be based in the Berlin area
