Quality is a cornerstone of the organization’s performance and reputation. The Head of Quality Management for Region Europe and Africa provides senior leadership for the regional Quality agenda across the organization for projects, programs, and processes. The role translates global business strategy into clear regional priorities, governance, standards, and measurable outcomes. As the senior voice of Quality in the region, the role partners with regional and global leadership, customers, regulatory bodies, and cross-functional teams. The incumbent sets direction, holds the organization accountable, builds organizational capability, and fosters a strong "Right First Time" quality culture embedded across every level of the business.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Define and lead the regional Quality strategy, align with global and business priorities, establish measurable objectives, sponsor critical initiatives and communicate direction and performance through appropriate leadership forums
• Build, lead and develop regional Quality organization, ensuring the right capacity, competence, succession and deployment model to meet business needs
• Champion and drive regional cultural transformation that embeds a "Right First Time" mindset, instilling personal accountability for quality across all functions, reducing rework and placing quality at the core of operational execution
• Represent Quality in regional leadership and business reviews, serve as the senior escalation point for significant customer matters and ensure quality requirements as well as interfaces are effectively managed throughout the lifecycle of projects and activities
• Own risk-based regional assurance and audit program, oversees internal and external audits as well as ensure findings and actions are addressed effectively and converted into sustainable improvement
• Maintain effective regional quality management system aligned with global, business, regulatory and customer requirements as well as identify gaps, governs changes and ensures consistent implementation
• Establish governance for quality training and competence across employees and contractors, while embedding accountability for quality within every business function as well as lead cultural transformation to drive quality-first mindset
• Govern end-to-end non-conformance process, including classification, containment, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action, effectiveness verification as well as regional sharing of lessons learned
• Actively drive and monitor productivity measures that help achieve business objectives as well as provide accurate, timely and transparent reporting on quality performance, risks, trends and cost of poor quality, enabling leadership to make informed decisions and prioritize interventions
• Set regional improvement agenda and sponsors initiatives that advance operational excellence through Lean methods, simplification, digitalization, innovation and disciplined execution
  
  
  

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality or a related discipline as well as a relevant master’s degree is advantageous
• 10–15 years of progressive Quality Management experience spanning quality assurance and quality control, including substantial leadership responsibility across a region, multiple countries or multiple sites
• Executive leadership & cultural change: Demonstrates proven experience driving organizational change to build a "Right First Time" quality culture
• Possess ability to set direction, lead through others, develop talent, influence senior stakeholders and establish accountability across complex, matrixed organizations
• Possess strong knowledge of quality management systems, integrated management systems, applicable codes and standards, non-conformance management, root cause analysis and corrective and preventive action
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification as well as experience in environment, health and safety auditing is advantageous
• Communicates fluently and persuasively in English and is credible with senior leaders, customers, regulators and cross-cultural teams
• Connects quality performance, risk and cost of poor quality (COPQ) to business outcomes, applies sound judgment and prioritizes action using data and operational insight
• Relevant experience in the energy, power generation, industrial or oil and gas sectors as well as practical knowledge of Lean Management and/or Six Sigma and uses digital tools, including Power BI or equivalent platforms, to strengthen reporting and decision-making
