Senior Product Engineer (gn) - #2690392

• Take ownership of end-to-end feature development across our new Data Platform - from frontend (React/TypeScript) to backend (Go)
• Play a key role in building our platform from 0→1, owning features from idea to production
• Build and ship user-facing features that enable non-technical users to configure complex data onboarding and pipeline processes
• Work across the stack to rapidly prototype, iterate, and deliver high-impact product features
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering to turn high-level problems into pragmatic, working solutions
• Actively challenge product and UX decisions, contributing your own ideas to simplify complex workflows
• Contribute to both frontend architecture and backend services, ensuring smooth integration between UI, APIs, and data processing logic
• Make pragmatic trade-offs between speed and scalability, focusing on shipping value early
• Take ownership of features in production, including debugging, iteration, and continuous improvement
  
  
  

What are we looking for?

• 5+ years of experience building modern web applications across frontend and backend
• Strong experience with React and TypeScript
• Solid backend experience with Go
• Proven ability to build and ship features end-to-end, ideally in early-stage or fast-moving environments
• Strong product mindset - you think in terms of solving user problems, not just implementing tasks
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and making decisions without perfect specs
• Ability to take ownership of features, from idea to production
• Excellent English communication skills, able to collaborate with distributed teams
• Berlin-based (or willing to relocate)
  
  
  

Nice-to-have

• Experience building data-heavy or workflow-driven products (ETL, pipelines, dashboards, internal tools)
• Familiarity with API design and integration patterns
• Experience in agentic coding workflows, AI-powered development tooling, or advanced dev tooling
• Knowledge of AWS and cloud-native concepts (useful when integrating with backend teams)
• Familiarity with ISO 27001-aligned & SOC2-compliant engineering practices
