Aufgabengebiet

• Build and run production-grade data products end to end, from design and development to deployment and operations.
• Apply strong backend engineering standards around clean code, APIs, testing, observability and performance.
• Ensure reliable data through quality checks, lineage, freshness, clear ownership and robust data models.
• Work closely with Product, Engineering and Data Science and support less experienced engineers through mentoring.
• Optimise services, pipelines and data models for scalability, reliability and cost.
  
  

Anforderungsprofil

• Senior experience in backend engineering, data engineering or both, ideally in AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Strong software engineering skills with Python and the willingness to work with Go.
• Experience with APIs, pipelines, data modelling, schemas and production systems.
• A strong focus on data quality, observability, documentation and ownership.
• Good communication skills, sound technical judgement and a proactive mindset.
