  • Manage Electrical QA/QC Engineers, inspectors and walkdown personnel.
  • Prepare and review Inspection and Test Plans, inspection checklists and quality procedures.
  • Establish hold points, witness points and acceptance criteria with clients and project stakeholders.
  • Monitor subcontractor compliance and promote a right-first-time approach.
  • Report electrical quality performance, emerging risks and outstanding actions to project leadership.
Electrical Installation Quality
  • Oversee inspections of HV, MV and LV distribution systems, transformers, switchgear and protection equipment.
  • Monitor installation quality for generators, UPS systems, batteries and associated infrastructure.
  • Inspect busbar, cable containment, cabling, terminations, earthing and bonding.
  • Verify equipment identification, cable labelling, segregation, fire stopping and installation clearances.
  • Review workmanship, torque records and compliance with manufacturer installation requirements.
  • Ensure concealed works are inspected and recorded before closure.
  • Coordinate quality inspections of BMS, EPMS and electrical monitoring interfaces where included in the package scope.
  • Maintain equipment and inspection-record traceability.
Technical Compliance and Design Coordination
  • Review electrical specifications, drawings, technical submissions and approved installation methodologies.
  • Verify that construction teams use current, approved information.
  • Identify discrepancies between design requirements, equipment specifications and installed works.
  • Coordinate technical queries with engineering and construction teams.
  • Ensure approved changes and technical resolutions are incorporated into inspection records.
  • Support multidisciplinary coordination to resolve electrical quality and interface issues.
Supplier and Subcontractor Quality Management
  • Review subcontractor quality plans, ITPs, inspection records and testing documentation.
  • Assess supplier certificates, equipment conformity records and manufacturing quality documentation.
  • Coordinate quality involvement in Factory Acceptance Testing and Site Acceptance Testing.
  • Inspect incoming equipment for damage, specification compliance and documentation completeness.
  • Support quality management of Owner-Furnished Contractor-Installed equipment and specialist vendor packages.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance and agree improvement plans where required.
  • Verify calibration records for testing equipment and competence of inspection and testing personnel.
Non-Conformance and Defect Management
  • Raise and manage Non-Conformance Reports through verified close-out.
  • Lead or support root-cause analysis and corrective-action planning.
  • Maintain accurate snagging, defect and punch-list registers.
  • Assign action owners and monitor agreed completion dates.
  • Verify remedial works against approved acceptance criteria.
  • Analyse recurring defects and implement preventive measures.
  • Escalate unresolved issues affecting energisation, commissioning readiness or handover.
Electrical Testing and Commissioning Readiness
  • Coordinate inspection and testing requirements with electrical construction and commissioning teams.
  • Review electrical testing procedures, results and supporting certification.
  • Monitor records for cable testing, insulation resistance, continuity, earthing and other specified tests.
  • Verify completion of installation inspections and prerequisite documentation before systems are released for energisation and commissioning.
  • Support quality assurance across the client-defined Level 1-5 commissioning process.
  • Participate in system walkdowns, readiness reviews and quality-release assessments.
  • Support Integrated Systems Testing by verifying quality records and closing relevant defects.
  • Maintain a clear distinction between quality release and the separate authorisations required for switching, isolation and energisation.
Electrical Handover and Project Close-Out
  • Coordinate progressive preparation of electrical turnover and handover packages.
  • Verify completeness of testing certificates, commissioning records and as-built information.
  • Review Operation and Maintenance manuals, warranties and supplier documentation with delivery teams.
  • Resolve outstanding defects and documentation gaps before client acceptance.
  • Support final inspections, system walkdowns and project close-out.
  • Capture lessons learned and contribute to improvements in electrical quality processes.
Client and Stakeholder Engagement
  • Act as a key electrical QA/QC contact for clients, consultants and subcontractors.
  • Chair electrical quality meetings and participate in project coordination reviews.

  • Experience managing OFCI equipment and international suppliers.
  • Familiarity with data centre commissioning stages and Integrated Systems Testing.
  • Internal or Lead Auditor qualification.
  • Experience using digital inspection platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, Dalux or equivalent.
  • Experience working within multicultural European project teams.
