Every product page at idealo depends on reliable offer data, accurate product matching, and content users can trust.

As Group Product Lead for Inventory & Catalog, you lead the product group responsible for this foundation across our international markets. You coach 3-5 senior Product Leads and Product Managers, own the group's priorities and delivery, and remain hands-on in selected parts of the portfolio.

When offer data is processed correctly and product content is complete, users see the result in the quality of every comparison they make.

About Your New Role

• Own the roadmap and delivery for your group, ensuring your Product Leads' individual roadmaps add up to a coherent, well-prioritized whole.
• Stay hands-on in parts of the portfolio yourself, acting as a player as much as a coach.
• Establish quality KPIs and unit economics for each step of offer and product page creation, so your Product Leads can make informed trade-offs between automation, quality, and cost.
• Resolve conflicts between Product Leads competing for shared engineering capacity, stakeholder attention, or priorities.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering teams and Principal Engineers to align technical and product priorities — as a close partner, not as part of the Engineering organization.
• Partner with your peers in the B2C group, who present your group's data and content to users, as well as with SEO, Content, and Content Marketing.
• Align regularly with the Group Product Leads for B2C and B2B, and with other stakeholders across idealo, to keep priorities and dependencies coherent across the broader product organization.
• Represent your group's delivery and priorities to the VP Product, and translate company objectives into clear priorities your Product Leads can act on.
  
  

Job Requirements

Skills & Requirements

• Extensive experience in product management, including experience coaching or developing other product managers.
• Proven track record of driving delivery across multiple product areas or teams, ideally involving data pipelines, ML/AI-driven classification or matching, or content at scale.
• Strong skills in resolving cross-product conflicts and prioritization trade-offs, and in aligning priorities with peers and stakeholders across an organization.
• Comfort defining and using quality KPIs and unit economics to guide prioritization between automation and manual/editorial work.
• A genuine hands-on mentality — you want to stay close to product work, not just manage from a distance.
• Comfortable partnering closely with Engineering leadership without being part of the Engineering organization yourself.
• Excellent collaboration skills, particularly with fellow Product leaders, SEO, Content, and Content Marketing.
• Fluent in German and English.
