About The Role And Team

Join the Uber Eats Field Sales team in Berlin and help expand our restaurant network across North-East Germany. The territory includes cities such as Berlin, Hamburg, Hannover, Bremen, Leipzig, and Dresden, so you'll need to be comfortable travelling across the region as business needs evolve. You'll spend time in the market meeting restaurant owners and decision-makers, understanding how their businesses operate, and bringing the right local restaurants onto Uber Eats.

This is a field-based role for someone who enjoys being close to the customer and taking ownership of a multi-city territory. You'll identify high-potential restaurants across North-East Germany, plan effective outreach and market visits, and build trusted relationships in person. The specific city you work in may vary depending on business needs, so flexibility and willingness to travel throughout the region are important. You'll also partner closely with Sales Operations, Marketing, Operations, and Account Management to take restaurants from first conversation through signed agreement, onboarding, first orders, and early growth.

Sales at Uber means navigating ambiguity, earning trust quickly, and solving problems without a script. You'll need to be resilient, resourceful, and comfortable moving between prospecting, in-person meetings, commercial negotiation, and launch support. The strongest performers combine local knowledge with commercial discipline and create partnerships that work for both the restaurant and Uber Eats.

What You'll Do

  • Own a North-East Germany territory from your Berlin base and build a prioritised pipeline of high-potential independent restaurants, local groups, and multi-site businesses across cities including Berlin, Hamburg, Hannover, Bremen, Leipzig, and Dresden.
  • Use local knowledge, research, cold calling, email, networking, and market visits to identify and engage restaurant owners and decision-makers.
  • Plan and conduct in-person meetings, site visits, and follow-ups that help prospects understand the opportunity with Uber Eats.
  • Adapt your sales approach to different restaurant types, cuisines, neighbourhoods, operating models, and business goals.
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through pitching, commercial negotiation, contract signature, and handover to onboarding.
  • Explain the value of Uber Eats and relevant product features in clear, commercially compelling terms, connecting them to each partner's goals around reach, demand, operations, and growth.
  • Negotiate sustainable partnership terms and close deals with the right restaurants for the Berlin market.
  • Guide new partners through onboarding and stay close during their launch, first orders, and first 28 days on the platform to help establish strong operating habits and early performance.
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales Operations, Marketing, Operations, and Account Management to remove onboarding blockers and create a seamless partner experience.
  • Monitor territory performance, market trends, restaurant feedback, and campaign results; use those insights to improve targeting and local sales strategy.
  • Share field feedback with internal stakeholders and help redesign inefficient processes so the Berlin team can move faster and scale what works.

Basic qualifications

  • At least 1 year of professional experience in quota-carrying sales, field sales, business development, or a customer-facing commercial role.
  • Experience managing a sales pipeline, identifying customer needs, presenting tailored solutions, negotiating commercial terms, and closing agreements.
  • Professional fluency in German and English, with the ability to build trust with restaurant partners and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
  • Based in Berlin and willing to travel regularly throughout the North-East Germany territory, including to cities such as Hamburg, Hannover, Bremen, Leipzig, and Dresden.
  • Experience using CRM software, such as Salesforce, to manage activity, pipeline stages, and follow-ups.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in food delivery, hospitality, restaurants, e-commerce, marketplaces, or another fast-moving B2B environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Berlin's restaurant landscape and an interest in learning the local business communities and independent restaurant ecosystems across North-East Germany.
  • Experience conducting market visits, planning a multi-city territory, field prospecting, or leading face-to-face commercial negotiations.
  • Additional languages commonly used in Berlin's restaurant community are a plus, including Turkish, Arabic, Italian, or Vietnamese.
  • Excellent listening, communication, negotiation, and objection-handling skills, with the ability to adapt your style to different audiences.
  • A resourceful, persistent, and proactive approach, with the energy to create opportunities and keep momentum in the field.
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, especially when priorities shift or a partner needs a creative path forward.
  • A track record of meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for contributing to a growing Berlin team.
