A Snapshot of Your Day

As Senior Expert (f/m/d) Procurement Regulations & Controls, you act as the central focal point for identifying, assessing, and implementing regulatory and control requirements impacting Procurement across Siemens Energy. You monitor emerging regulations and governance requirements, assess their impact on procurement processes, systems, supplier management and controls, and translate them into actionable concepts. In close collaboration with relevant corporate functions and business procurement teams, you lead cross-functional implementation projects and develop governance frameworks that ensure compliance and operational efficiency.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Monitoring and assessment of emerging regulations, governance requirements and control expectations impacting Procurement
• Evaluation of regulatory impacts on Siemens Energy’s procurement organization, processes, systems and supplier landscape, including translation into actionable requirements
• Provision of subject matter expertise on procurement regulatory and governance topics, including guidance for stakeholders and leadership
• Leadership of cross-functional projects to implement regulatory requirements and establish sustainable compliance concepts
• Design and continuous enhancement of procurement governance frameworks, processes, controls and monitoring approaches
• Coordination of stakeholders across Procurement, Legal, Finance, Cybersecurity, Logistics and other corporate functions, including support for audits, compliance reviews, training and awareness activities
  
  
  

What You Bring

• University degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Law or a related field
• Extensive years of professional experience in Procurement, Compliance, Governance, Internal Controls, Risk Management or Consulting
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, governance models and regulatory compliance requirements
• Proven experience in leading cross-functional projects within a global and international environment
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Business-fluent English; additional languages are a plus, combined with a willingness to travel internationally (up to 20%)
