About The Opportunity

Shape the future of API-first, composable analytics for enterprise content teams as a Senior Frontend Engineer with Contentful.

We are expanding our analytics capabilities tailored to the needs of marketers and content strategists. As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will lead the development of customer-facing analytics dashboards and insights integrated directly into Contentful’s user interface.

This role focuses on building performant, intuitive UIs and reusable components that bring complex data to life. You will work closely with design, product, backend, and data to help marketers understand how content performs and evolves across its lifecycle.

What to expect?

• Architect and implement analytics dashboards using React, Next.js, Tailwind, and modern data visualization libraries
• Build reusable frontend components such as metric tiles, charts, filters, and breakdown views
• Collaborate with designers to translate Figma specs into accessible, interactive, and user-friendly visualizations
• Ensure frontend performance, responsiveness, and maintainability in data-heavy interfaces
• Define and uphold standards for testing, accessibility, and frontend development workflows
• Partner with design, product, and data teams to deliver cohesive and insight-rich user experiences
• Mentor teammates through code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical guidance
  
  

What You Need To Be Successful

• 5+ years of experience building modern web applications with React and TypeScript
• Proven track record of delivering complex dashboards or analytics tools in a B2B environment
• Strong background in data visualization and rendering large datasets efficiently
• Deep understanding of frontend performance, accessibility, and component design
• Bonus: Familiarity with analytics, headless CMS, or e-commerce domains
