bunch is building the backbone of private markets with an end-to-end fund administration platform designed for VC, PE, and other alternative investment funds. Combining AI-driven automation with expert fund support, bunch delivers a new ‘System of Record’ for private markets, covering the entire fund lifecycle.

To expand our core team, we're seeking a passionate Founders Associate who wants to play a pivotal role in growing our business and revolutionising private markets.

How The Role Contributes To The Company's Vision

As a Founders Associate on our Strategy Team, you will be at the core of what drives bunch forward. Working closely with our Founders and Chief of Staff, you will take on impactful projects that shape our commercial, operational, and product success. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to the growth of bunch from within and gain experience in taking an early-stage company to the next level.

Top responsibilities

• Lead the early stages of high-importance, high-urgency projects - from problem definition to actionable plans. Drive data-backed testing of hypotheses through reference calls, targeted research, and rapid prototyping to find solutions quickly.
• Take charge of initiatives across commercial, product, and operations. Work closely with different teams to ensure alignment and effective execution. Step into interim roles as needed to drive outcomes and maintain momentum.
• Build and maintain key partnerships that support our business objectives.
• Monitor key metrics and help prepare materials for board meetings and other investor communications to keep investors informed and aligned with our company's vision and progress.
• Conduct market research and opportunity assessments to support the Founders and the Strategy Team in new areas for growth, operational improvements, and the launch of new markets, business lines, and products.
  
  

What you should bring with you

• 1-2 years of experience in startups, top-tier consulting, investment banking, venture capital / private equity, or other fast-paced environments.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration, engineering, science or a related field from a reputable university.
• Excellent multitasking and prioritisation skills to handle multiple projects, with a proven ability to achieve results regardless of the challenges involved.
• Proactive & entrepreneurial mindset, combined with a willingness to dive into new areas, break down complex problems into simple solutions, and take full ownership of outcomes.
• Clear, articulate communication skills in English.
• Familiarity with low-code/no-code tools or a willingness to learn is a strong advantage.

• Deep-dive interview with Kardan Beytas (Chief of Staff) to discover the role in more detail and discuss how your journey has prepared you for it, your learnings along the way, your goals, and your overall personal purpose. (30min)
• Case Interview to demonstrate your way of thinking, working, and communicating your output. (45min)
• Final interview day with our Founder(s) and selected senior leadership in the Berlin office to further learn about our vision and discuss any open questions. (30min each)
