We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.
What You’ll Build
At CFS, we design, build, and operate scalable core services that power critical applications used by both internal SAP stakeholders and external customers. These services are central to delivering reliable business functionality, requiring high availability, performance, and resilience at scale.
We are looking for a passionate and skilled (Senior) Developer (f/m/d) to join our innovative team. In this role, you will take part in designing and developing robust, scalable services and APIs, working primarily with technologies such as GO and Java. You will be responsible for building and evolving distributed systems, improving system performance, and ensuring reliability in production environments.
While the primary focus is on server-side development, you will also collaborate closely with frontend teams and occasionally contribute to UI layers when needed. The ideal candidate is a strong team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of end-to-end solutions, and is eager to contribute to products used by thousands of enterprise users worldwide.
What You Bring
At SAP CFS (Commercial Foundation Services), we deliver best-in-class end-to-end solutions that enable developers and Lines of Business (LOBs) to create, extend, and consume SAP applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) / Unified Services.
We are responsible for developing and operating the core platform services of SAP BTP / Unified Services - services that all other components depend on.
Our unit provides foundational capabilities such as account and tenant management, provisioning, commercialization, automation, integration, and shared platform services, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and reliable for all BTP / Unified Services products and customers.
During the interview process for this role, the following skills will be evaluated: Agentic Engineering, Agentic Orchestration, AI-Assisted Engineering, High-Availability Engineering, Observability, AI-Assisted Automation and Prototyping, Context Engineering, AI Output Quality Assurance, AI Adoption Capability, Agentic AI Day-to-Day Practice, Learning Agility, Collaboration, Complex Problem Solving, Creative Thinking, Effective Communication.
We win with inclusion
SAP’s culture of inclusion, focus on health and well-being, and flexible working models help ensure that everyone – regardless of background – feels included and can run at their best. At SAP, we believe we are made stronger by the unique capabilities and qualities that each person brings to our company, and we invest in our employees to inspire confidence and help everyone realize their full potential. We ultimately believe in unleashing all talent and creating a better world.
